Production Planner

As a good Accuenergy production planner, you can effectively plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of goods and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. To be a successful production planner, you should have strong organizational and time management skills, attention to details, ability to adapt to changing circumstances and understand the production process as well as materials requirement planning. You should be good at production scheduling, inventory management, resource allocation, order processing and able to analyze production data, identify trends, and forecast future production needs. Additionally, communication skills are key in this role as you will need to work closely with various departments such as procurement, operations, sales, and finance.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain a production schedule based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.

· Determine the production capacity required to meet demand and ensure that resources are allocated appropriately.

· Generate and manage work orders, production BOM and material master data in system.

· Detect and resolve production issues with manufacture engineers and production team leads in time.

· Collaborate with material planner to ensure that the required raw materials and other resources are available at the right time and in the right quantities to meet the production schedule.

· Monitor WIP material supply flow and identifying any shortages or bottlenecks in usage based on the production scheduling.

· Track production performance and identifying any issues or delays and taking appropriate action to ensure production stays on schedule.

· Address and resolve any quality issues impacting production.

· Update and maintain production status report and shared dashboard in real time.

· Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

· Continuously evaluate and improve production processes with manufacturing engineers to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

· Proven experience in production planning or a similar role.

· Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

· Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.

· Proven electrical or mechanical manufacturing work experience is an asset.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
