TGI Life Sciences is partnering with a global CDMO that has over a decade of experience specializing in peptide-based products, including APIs, custom peptides, etc. The company offers end-to-end services across CRO, CMO, CDMO, and OEM, with strong capabilities in R&D, production, and quality control.
Title: (Sr.) Director of Business Development
Location: Europe & the UK
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy in the region area.
Establish strategic partnerships and cultivate a local ecosystem to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
Participate in internal BD, project, and leadership meetings as needed. Ensure timely submission of weekly and client visit reports, and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support sustainable business growth.
Maintain a strong focus on sales targets and ensure consistent performance.
Represent the company at industry forums and events to increase market influence and presence.
Collaborate with the quoting team to optimize pricing strategies based on customer insights.
Analyze customer needs, market dynamics, and technology trends to inform strategic planning for the EU.
Provide ongoing feedback to R&D and Operations teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Take full ownership and accountability for achieving sales goals within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
Solid scientific background with a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields; advanced degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) preferred.
Over 10 years of business development experience in the CDMO industry, with a proven track record of success. Prior experience in peptide CDMO is highly preferred.
In-depth understanding of the drug development lifecycle, from early-stage development to commercial manufacturing.
Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer relationship building.
