Job Posting for Global Account Director at ProductLife Group
Role: The Global Account Director – is a senior client partner responsible for managing 3 or more of PLG’s largest and most strategic global pharmaceutical clients. This role is accountable for driving account growth, deepening executive relationships, orchestrating cross-BU and cross-regional delivery, and ensuring PLG is positioned as a long-term strategic partner across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Leadership
Global responsibility for a multinational group headquartered in France
Strategic Account Plan:
Own and execute multi-year strategic account plans tailored to the unique global structure, priorities, and pipeline of assigned accounts.
Build Account plan including detailed man-marking to collect strategic insight and influence the customers strategic board level priorities
Build and maintain C-suite and senior executive relationships to position PLG as a trusted partner not just a vendor
Cross-selling Plan/Synergies:
Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across global functions (Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Quality, Market Access, Digital, Product Development).
Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across regions (EU, US, APAC, ROW)
Commercial Growth & Performance
Drive annual revenue growth and margin expansion across geographies, business units, and service lines.
Collaborate with BU-aligned Solutions Consultants, Global BU Leaders, and Regional Sales Directors, Regional Managing Directors to shape high-value proposals, SOWs, proactive solution offerings and bring competitive and innovative approaches to our models and solutions.
Own accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting for assigned accounts.
Client Engagement & Value Delivery
Lead global QBRs and executive steering committees to ensure value realization and client satisfaction.
Proactively monitor follow up delivery performance, collect client feedback and satisfaction and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and long-term trust.
Position PLG services in alignment with client transformation initiatives, including digital enablement, outsourcing, and operational efficiency mandates.
Internal Alignment & Governance
Serve as the internal champion for the client, ensuring alignment across delivery, sales, operations, and executive leadership.
Lead cross-functional account teams and pursuit strategies across business units and geographies.
Ensure compliance with commercial governance, pricing discipline, and contractual terms.
Market Insight & Innovation
Act as a strategic advisor by understanding the evolving needs of global pharma—regulatory shifts, access hurdles, digital innovation, and data-driven transformation.
Be aware of Major global roll-out of Digital Transformation projects running in the GAM portfolio.
Provide structured feedback to BU and marketing teams to inform service development and thought leadership.
Innovation Risks & Ops mapping
Key Qualifications:
12 years of experience in life sciences consulting, strategic account management, or enterprise-level sales to Top 50 pharma companies.
Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, global regulatory frameworks (EMA, FDA, PMDA, etc.), and commercial access dynamics.
