BettingJobs is partnering with a rapid growth iGaming operator seeking to expand their team with a Product Director.
This role is full time based in the Costa Rica, San Jose office. No Remote option avalbile.
Responsibilities:
Own the full lifecycle of new products from inception to launch, across all verticals (sports, casino, lottery, horseracing).
Define product strategy, market positioning, and roadmap, in collaboration with executive leadership.
Lead and align IT, Development, QA, Marketing, CRM, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth execution.
Develop and manage detailed product plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and key deliverables.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations at all levels.
Understand player needs and market trends, ensuring products meet user demands and commercial goals.
Use data, research, and business analysis to validate product strategies, KPIs, and post-launch performance.
Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks throughout product development and launch processes.
Refine and optimize product processes based on feedback, results, and evolving business objectives.
Requirements:
10 years’ experience in Product Management, ideally within online gaming, sports betting, casino, lottery, or similar digital industries.
Proven track record delivering complex products end-to-end, handling ideation, development, GTM strategy, and post-launch performance.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience working cross-functionally across IT, Development, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, QA, and Compliance.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and operational realities.
Highly organized with excellent project management skills—can juggle multiple products and timelines effectively.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies; comfortable with Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication skills—able to influence at executive level while driving day-to-day operational progress.
Experience working with remote and international teams a plus.
