School Basketball Referee

Melbourne Sports Institute is currently recruiting enthusiastic basketball referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competition in Term 1 2025.

We are currently recruiting basketball referees to work with our client schools located in the following and surrounding suburbs: Ringwood, Greensborough, Donvale, Kilsyth, Ormond, Thornbury, Oakleigh, Prahran and Wantirna South.

We offer competitive rates starting from $40 per match with an opportunity for back-to-back games!

The season runs throughout Term 1, February to April.

Matches are played on a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons between 1:15pm - 2:45pm.

There are also opportunities for full day tournaments in these areas from Monday - Friday.

Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further umpiring opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
• Have a deep understanding of basketball
• Possess significant experience in playing, coaching or umpiring the sport

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
