Francis Burt Law Education Programme Education Officer – Fulltime or 0.8 FTE
The Law Society of Western Australia’s Francis Burt Law Education Programme (FBLEP) facilitates community legal education tours of the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts and scripted mock trials. It also provides community legal education resources and professional development events for teachers and other professional groups.
Working from the Old Court House Law Museum and the Law Society’s office, the FBLEP Education Officer is a part of a small team of dedicated educators creating and delivering experiential education programmes focused on West Australian courts, legal principles and court processes for primary, secondary, community and professional groups.
Professional experience with the WA justice system and/or a passion for teaching the humanities, including civics and citizenship and/or politics and law, would be highly regarded, but are not essential. Excellent communication, team work and administrative skills are a must.

Remuneration: $70,000 to $80,000 dependent on skills and experience.
