Site Supervisor Mildura - Civil Construction

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the construction team onsite (including Leading hands, labourers, Machine operators & sub-contractors, to produce planned activities each day
• Plan and allocate work, monitor progress, and take overall responsibility for ensuring project construction is carried out effectively
• Lead Daily Pre-Start talks, highlighting tasks for the day, the hazards involved and control measures
• Review the program lookahead with the project team to ensure everyone is aligned and heading towards the same milestones
• Read and understand the requirements of design drawings and project specifications and manage construction on site in accordance
• Help create and lead a positive and inclusive culture on site which promotes the reporting of Near Misses, Non-Conformances and Incidents / Accidents
• Work closely with the Project Engineers to understand budget production rates, costs codes and budgeted crew sizes
• Complete a detailed daily diary
• Provide advice and recommendations to the Project Manager for improvements to company systems, processes, methods of construction or anything that improve production or add value to the business or project

About you:

• Experience in a similar role (Construction Foreman / Site Supervisor / leading hand / Site Manager or similar)
• Experience building roads, and earthworks projects
• You like to use your expertise & innovation to deliver work that you and the team are proud of
• Enjoy helping your team find the best solutions to deliver complex projects
• Attention to detail and passionate about maintaining a neat and tidy job site
