CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Operator and Programmer Location: Thetford, UK Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (early finish on Fridays) Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience and CNC programming knowledge) About the Company: We are a busy and expanding company specializing in precision engineering, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of engineering drawings, and a passion for learning and developing within the company. Training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with the right aptitude and a desire to progress. CNC Operator, Key Responsibilities: Operate and program CNC turning and milling machines. Work to detailed engineering drawings to produce precision components. Take ownership of individual projects from start to finish. Collaborate with the team while maintaining the ability to work independently. Ensure components meet quality standards and specifications. CNC Operator, Requirements: Basic understanding of detailed engineering drawings. Experience with CNC machining (turning, milling, or programming) is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and progress within the company. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
