About the Role
As a result of continuous company growth, GPA is looking for an experienced Electrical Power Engineer to join our Perth team on a full-time basis.

Essential Requirements:
Working as part of the HV team you will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design, power system modelling and studies, and procurement and commissioning support for the HV systems for a variety of sectors ranging from microgrids, renewable energy plants, battery energy storage, green hydrogen and carbon capture facilities to conventional mining, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
To be successful in this position you will have completed a Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering or similar and be working towards your Chartered status, if not already achieved. You must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience.
Key Duties
It’s essential you have a minimum of 4 years proven technical experience.
You’ll be a critical thinker with great attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills.
As a multi-disciplinary engineering company with varied client industries and projects based across offices across the country your open communication is vital. Supporting the team across the business is critical to our success and workplace culture.
To be successful in this position you will have an engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia.
