  • Contribute to the application of good governance, transparency and fairness at Bass Coast Shire Council
  • Permanent Part-time 3 days per week | Wonthaggi/Hybrid | Flexible working arrangements
  • $38.38 per hour plus Superannuation


ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join a diverse team with transparency and fairness at its core, with this permanent part time role in our Governance team. Showcase your skills in communication and relationship building as well as a chance to work with our elected Council officials.


This is an excellent opportunity to engage with Bass Coast's executive leadership team and Councillors to undertake tasks such as:


  • maintain governance registers.
  • develop and review Councillor Induction Programs and Policy documents.
  • coordinate Councils administrative actions for elections and by-elections
  • oversee administrative arrangements for Councillor Briefings and Meetings, including preparation of agendas and minute taking, ensuring that statutory and policy requirements are adhered to, and timelines are met.
