On Career.com you can save more than 1 version of your resume. You will have the option to select a format for your resume. When you finda job that you want to respond to, use the saved resume to respond. You will have an opportunity to write a cover letter and send it along with your resume to the employer. Most of our employers prefer to get a text resume. E-mail with file attachment is allowed only if the employer has indicated to us they will accept e-mail with attached files.
No need to login in order to search for the jobs. When you find the job you want to respond to, you will be prompted to login in and access your saved resume to respond to this job. If you have not saved a resume on career.com before, you will have an option to create/save the reume and respond to the job at the same time.
You can set up a Job SurferTM, a job agent to search jobs for you. We will send this job list to you via e-mail, otherwise you will see the job list when you access your account on career.com.
Your resume will be available to the employers only if you allow it. You will be asked this question when you create/save your resume. If you make it private, only you can use it to repond to jobs.
